The Diatermo MB 120 FLASH electrosurgical unit is a professional high-frequency electrosurgical device designed for precision interventions in monopolar and bipolar modes, including microsurgery; it allows surgical treatments with programmable operational times in thousandths of a second values, or to operate in traditional mode. It enables treatments with minimal tissue alteration and offers selectable cutting and coagulation modes for various surgical needs.
Digital unit with power output reading and microcontroller control of operational functions that ensure reliability and repeatability. It features continuous monitoring of the neutral electrode connection and supports the use of split return electrodes for increased patient safety. Programmable functions (timer, RF pulse, and intervals) allow reproducible treatments adaptable to surgical procedures.
Suitable for professional use in operating rooms, outpatient surgical centers, and clinics where precision surgical treatments and microsurgery are performed. It is suitable for interventions that require careful tissue control and various levels of coagulation. In the bipolar coagulation mode, impedance detection of tissues is activated, automatically turning on and off upon achieving coagulation (AUTOSTART – AUTOSTOP).
It allows for highly professional surgery thanks to the adopted ergonomic and safety solutions. The connection of the neutral electrode is continuously monitored, and if a split neutral electrode is used, the neutral electrode/patient contact is ensured.The ability to switch functions and control the power delivery from the electrode holder allows surgical procedures to be carried out without diverting attention from the surgical field.
The machine offers independent monopolar and bipolar outputs, power delivery options via footswitch or handle, auto Start/Stop in bipolar coagulation, and selection of modes such as PURE CUT, BLEND, ENHANCED, FORCED COAG, and SOFT COAG. The digital setting of power and the adjustment of power increment facilitate intraoperative control.
