Extended information about cookies


    Doctor Shop informs the User about the different types, purposes and ways of use of all the cookies used on www.doctorshop.eu, in addition to the Privacy Policy and to the Data Protection Policy - if the user is a customer – and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation 679/2016.

    What is a cookie and what does it do

    How the User can manage the consent

    Through the banner, it is possible to manage cookies consent.
    During the first visit to the website, meaning after deleting browser’s cache, cookies banner will pop up to allow the User to:
    • accept all types of cookies by clicking on “accept”
    • decline all types of cookies by clicking on “decline cookies”, after clicking on “Preferences”
    • choose which cookie install, by clicking on “Preferences”
    • close the banner by clicking on the “x” in the right corner of the banner and continue to browse the website, which will install only the essential cookies to the functioning (“technical cookies”)

    These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems.     Google Tag Manager


    Our website uses Google Tag Manager (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). This is a solution with which we manage website tags via an interface which allows us to integrate, e.g. Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our website. However, the tag manager (which implements the tags) does not process any of your personal data itself.

    Google Analytics

    Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google (LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Analytics uses cookies to enable an analysis of the use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about the user's use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on a server in the United States. However, the user's IP address will be shortened by Google prior to analysis. The IP address transmitted by the browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. Cookies stored by Google Analytics are deleted at the latest after 14 months.

    • USERIDXXXXX: store a unique identifier for each user, in order to save time by eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information and improve the user experience of the users themselves.
    • LH_PRIMO_XXXXX: timestamp that saves the first contact by the user with the chat.
    • LH_LAST_MEX_XXXXX: timestamp of the last message received by the User.
    • LH_LAST_OPER_XXXXX: string that identifies the last agent that has chatted with the User.
    • LH_PUSH_ONXXXX: anonymous flag to know if user accepted push notifications.

    The cookies are issued when the user activates the chat by clicking the engagement button on the site of the Customer or when displaying the engagement button; they are persistent cookies and have a duration of 5 years.
    When using the service, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends via HTTPS protocol
    Such information may include IP address, browser type and device used, browser language, the date and time of the request, the web page of origin of the chat request.

    Targeting and Advertising Cookies

    These cookies are set through our site by our advertising partners. They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites based on your profile.     Google Signals, a service by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), associates information about visits collected from GWS Services with Google information from users' accounts, for those who are logged in and have consented to this association for ad personalization purposes. This Google information may include the end user’s location, search history, YouTube history, and data from sites that partner with Google.


     Google Ads Conversion Tracking

    Google Ads (former Google Adwords), a Google LLC product (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), allows conversion tracking when you browse our website. If you open the website through a Google advertisement, Google Ads will set a cookie on your device. The information that makes possible the personal identification is not transmitted to Google’s services.

    • the data collected by first part cookies can be communicated to subjects that work for Doctor Shop as responsible or are in charge for the treatment, for the already known purposes.
    In conclusion, talking about third part cookies, we remind that the purposes of those cookies, the logics and relative treatments and the managing of the User’s preferences are not determined and/or verified by this online space, but by a third entity that provides them, as provider and holder of the treatment, as shown before. Anyway, this online space will help to provide support to the user that will ask to practice his right to delete the cookies from his browser.
