The PEEP valve is a resuscitation/oxygen therapy accessory designed to apply a level of positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) during manual ventilation with resuscitation bags.
Indicated for use in emergency and resuscitation contexts (emergency rooms, first aid, ambulances), in hospital departments, and in out-of-hospital settings for manual ventilation with resuscitation bags and in support of oxygen therapy. It can be used in both professional settings (hospitals, clinics) as well as in first aid and transport contexts.
Allows for the control of PEEP during manual ventilation, contributing to improved oxygenation and prevention of alveolar collapse.
