The HEINE mPack^® power source is a rechargeable power system for HEINE instruments operating at 6 V. It can be used as a mobile unit or inserted into the EN50 base, allowing for both stationary and mobile use with a HEINE instrument.

HEINE mPack^® features LED indicators that show the battery charge status and includes a clip on the body for attachment to a belt or pocket. Charging can occur via a dedicated transformer or when the mPack is inserted into the EN50 base unit. The operating time depends on the type of lamp and the brightness setting, with an indicative value of approximately 150 minutes at maximum intensity with the HEINE OMEGA 500 at 10 W.

Advantages and Features

Inserting the mPack into the EN50 base maintains the same operational functions as the EN50, including audible click on and off, brightness adjustment, and use with controls on the HC50 strap. The LED indicators also allow for visualization of the charge status, while the yellow LED flashing signals the need for recharging.
