Measurement methods

Thoracic
1. In order to have best ECG waves, thoracic measurement is suggested.
2. Hold the device in the right hand. Be sure that palm and fingers perfectly touch the metallic electrodes I and II.
3. Put the electrod III on the naked sking about 5 cm under the left nipple. The signal received by the device is similar to the V ECG derivation signal

Leg
When isn't possible use the thoracic measurement, the leg measurement is suggested.
1. During the measurement, hold the device in the right hand.
2. Be sure that palm and fingers perfectly touch the metallic electrodes I and II.
3. Put the electrod III on the skin about 10 cm above the left ankle. The signal received by the ECG is similar to the II ECG derivation signal

Palm
1. Hold the device in the right hand.
2. Be sure that palm and fingers perfectly touch the electrodes I and II.
3. Press the electrod III against the center of the left palm. The signal received by the ECG is similar to the I ECG derivation signal.

Cables
For a better ECG, is possible to use the measurement with the connection cable
1. Connect the cable to the device using the relative plug
2. Put the electrodes and connect them to the cables as showed in the user manual to get II ECG derivation signal; if you wish to get the I and II ECG derivation signals, connect the cables to the electrodes as showed in the user manual.
