The Evolution forceps is a sterile medical device designed for specific gynecological applications related to the management of intrauterine devices (IUDs). It features longer and thinner tips compared to Cheron forceps, allowing for extended access to the endocervix.
The longer, straight tips improve the forceps' insertion capability into the endocervix when the IUD strings are not visible outside the cervix, and provide a better grip on the strings for easier removal. The device is supplied sterile, in multipack for clinical use.
Indicated for gynecology departments and outpatient clinics (obstetrics/gynecology) for control and removal procedures of intrauterine devices; it can be used in hospital, outpatient, or clinical settings where sterile gynecological instruments are required.
