QV-500 is a portable medical device that uses infrared light technology to project real-time digital images of blood vessels on the skin surface. Designed with an ergonomic profile for repeated use by healthcare professionals, it facilitates the identification of veins in patients with visibility difficulties (obesity, dark skin, body hair, varices, patients undergoing chemotherapy, small vessels).
Indicated for use in hospital wards, outpatient clinics, emergency services, infusion centers, oncology units, and for home care managed by qualified healthcare personnel. It can be used for venous access, blood sampling, placement of peripheral catheters, and assessment of vascular morphology.
The QV-500 allows the operator to observe vascular thickness, length, curvature, and branching of vessels to determine the optimal access point, reducing attempts, procedure times, and patient discomfort. The 7 color modes and brightness adjustment allow adaptation to different skin tones and environmental conditions.
