General information

The mALB/CREA Combi Screen® urine strips by Analyticon allow for the detection of microalbuminuria based on the albumin-creatinine ratio (mALB/CREA) on a spot urine sample. Designed for screening at-risk patients (e.g., diabetics, hypertensives), it provides reliable information on albumin levels regardless of urine concentration.

Main Advantages

The test has a low detection limit (22 mg/L) that enables early identification of microalbuminuria. The result is available in approximately 60 seconds and can be read visually against the reference table on the label or interpreted automatically with the Urilyzer® 100 Pro analyzer (optional).

Usage Area and Method

This device is intended for professional use in clinical settings: hospitals, outpatient clinics, general medical offices, diabetes centers, and diagnostic laboratories for monitoring and screening renal function. It does not require 24-hour urine collection: it can be used on a spot sample.

Operational Features and Recommendations

The procedure is quick and does not require complex equipment: open the tube, immerse/contact the reagent with the sample according to the instructions, wait 60 seconds, and compare the color with the table. For greater objectivity, the use of the Urilyzer® 100 Pro is recommended when available. Designed for healthcare professionals.

Standard equipment

Pack of 25 tests in an aluminum tube with a reference table for visual result reading.
